Horrible Day 4 was my second amateur game, this time developed with Wintermute Game Engine. It is a set of software tools and a runtime interpreter primarily designed for creating and running graphical adventure games.

This project was the result of a collaboration with three other people, and I was mainly dedicated to programming tasks (WGE uses its own scripting language), apart from managing the coordination of all the teammates.

The plot is about an university student, Frank Tower, who has to finish a project, but he is going through a crysis of creativity. While working in his project, suddenly he is abducted by Clippy, the Microsoft Office Assistant. In order to return to the real world, Frank has to travel along some of his favourite adventure games.

The game is divided into 4 worlds: 3 of them were classic 2D games (Sabre Wulf, Sam&Max and The Curse of Monkey Island), and the last one mixed prerendered scenarios with 3D characters. It has voices for every dialog and most of them are hilarious.
